How to Stop Having the Same Old Argument
Do you feel like you and your partner have literally had the exact same argument multiple times? Despite talking it through again and again, neither of you feels heard or understood – just frustrated and exhausted. If you don’t know what to do next, this is the workshop for you. We’ll practice active listening, identifying judgments, and translating your feelings into needs. With patience and curiosity, you can understand each other better and come to collaborative solutions.

Have you been interested in an open relationship? This workshop covers relationship vocabulary and covers some of the challenges of opening a relationship and how to navigate them. We’ll talk about dating apps, safer sex agreements, time management, and new relationship energy. You will practice communicating feelings and needs and how to verbalize why you want an open relationship.

How to Slay Jealousy, the Green-Eyed Monster
Even though jealousy is common, it has a reputation as a toxic emotion that emotionally mature or evolved people don’t experience. At this workshop, we will separate jealousy from the shame that often surrounds it and break it down into its emotional components. I will lead exercises on somatic awareness, how to translate feelings into needs and requests, and how to allow yourself more grace to experience conflicting feelings.
Education is what I do
These three areas showcase some of the most common topics I get asked about. They are frequently the reasons people see me for relationship mediation or conflict coaching. I have distilled them into presentations that can be given as talks or workshops. Please reach out to schedule one with your community group.
What’s the difference?
A talk is closer to a lecture and is focused on sharing information. I do most of the talking, though I incorporate audience interaction when possible. It’s more appropriate for groups of any size. Maximum length: 60 minutes + questions at the end.
A workshop is an interactive session that involves hands-on activities and participation from attendees. Instead of listening to me describe a skill or technique, workshop attendees get to practice them with each other. A workshop is typically limited to 20 or so participants, and last from 1.5 to 2.5 hours, with time for questions at the end.
